Job Title:  CAT Coordinator  (full-time, permanent)

Job Objective:  The primary job objective is to assist in the coordination of CAT referrals from Intake through to report submission in accordance with our customers’ service level agreements and expectations.

Location: Vaughan (260 Edgeley Blvd, L4K 3Y4)

Public Transportation: The office is a 10 minute walk from Vaughan Metropolitan Centre.

Personal Vehicle: Parking is not available directly on the premises. Parking is available at Vaughan Metropolitan Centre (10 minute walk)

Essential Job Duties/Tasks:

The general job duties of the CAT Coordinator include the Referral triage, Assessor selection, CAT report review, and second review of CAT referrals. This may include the preparation of CAT memos, selection of an assessment team and assignment of the referral to QA.

  • Triage all incoming CAT referrals.
  • Prepare memos for insurers.
  • Assist in the selection of assessors.
  • Communicate with adjusters as needed.
  • QA CAT reports
  • Second review CAT reports for QA purposes.
  • Track CAT referrals
  • Assist with the recruitment of new CAT assessors
Education / Experience / Certificates Required:
  • University Degree
  • RHP an asset
  • Related work experience (5-10 years)
  • Knowledge of SABS
  • Knowledge of the AMA Guides 4th and 6th Edition
  • C CAT or equivalent certification
  • Quality Assurance (Report Review) experience an asset

Reports To: Director of Operations

Hours: 8 hour work day

Breaks: 1-hour unpaid lunch
