SOMA’s upper management team is comprised of Regulated Kinesiologists with 20+ years of experience in the IME industry.  We envision hiring an energetic, recent kinesiology graduate who is interested in learning about independent medical assessments and sales thereof.

This person will identify opportunities, seek and engage new clients, develop new proposals and manage existing accounts. This position requires the individual to have consistent contact with clients; maintain awareness regarding industry standards and client expectations; utilize time efficiently and travel on an as needed basis. Working together with the President and Vice President of Business Development to achieve superior customer service and market knowledge and strives to meet and exceed company's revenue objectives. Assist to drive the development of provincial and national sales with particular focus on the medical legal market. Cold calling clients to set up meetings. Manages the new client welcoming process and assignment to appropriate staff member for relationship management.  Maintain key customer relationships and develops and implements strategies for expanding the company’s customer base. Represent the company at industry functions. Act as a liaison between clients and the company, actively promotes services, gathers and exchanges information.  Evaluates the results of overall sales efforts regularly and reports these results to the President. Continuously analyzes the market and competition and identifies external threats and opportunities.  Provides weekly, monthly and quarterly updates as directed.  Attends internal meetings. Extended hours are often required beyond regular eight hour work days for attendance at events and client entertainment.

SOMA's core service is provision of independent medical evaluation services to insurers, lawyers, employers, government agencies and municipalities.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $50,000.00 to $60,000.00 /year plus commission structure (targets reasonably expect additional 6-12K, potentially higher). Benefits package through Manulife.
