Back by popular demand, the OKA is once again pleased to present a two-part webinar series on Physical Demands Analysis by Elizabeth Chapman, R.Kin. 

This webinar series is an excellent introduction for kinesiologists who are looking to expand their services to include the provision of Physical Demands Analysis.

Part one will take place on June 21, 2018 from 6pm - 7pm. Part two will take place on June 28, 2018 from 6pm - 7pm.

Fees: 

OKA Members - $70.00  + HST for both webinars
Non-Members - $120.00 + HST for both webinars
Students - $50.00 +HST for both webinars

June 21, 2018 - Physical Demands Analysis - The Basics Part 1:  6:00pm - 7:00pm

This webinar is the first of a two part series and will provide Kinesiologists who would like to provide this service with the basics to get them started. The session will cover why these assessments are completed, and how the resultant reports are used. Details will be provided on what information you need to know before you go onsite, what equipment is needed, what information you need to gather during the assessment, and report writing. 

June 28, 2018 - Physical Demands Analysis for Employers - The Basics Part 2 - 6:00 - 7:00pm 

This webinar is the second of a two part series which is focused on providing Kinesiologists with the basics to get them started providing physical demands analysis for employers. This webinar will take the information learned from the first webinar and expand on it. Video clips of different job tasks will be reviewed, giving participants an opportunity to analyze the data and receive feedback. More detailed information on report writing will be discussed as well as information shared on additional resources available. 

About the Presenter:

Elizabeth Chapman, R.Kin, graduated from the Kinesiology program at the University of Waterloo, is a Registered Kinesiologist with the College of Kinesiologist in Ontario, a professional member of the Ontario Kinesiology Association, and a member of the Association of Canadian Ergonomists. She is currently employed as a Health and Wellness Specialist for Toyota Motor Manufacturing Canada. Over the last 19 years, Elizabeth has worked with employers across Canada to develop customized solutions to reduce injuries and better manage them when they occur.  Elizabeth is a past President for the Ontario Kinesiology Association and Canadian Kinesiology Alliance. She is a past Council member of the College of Kinesiologists of Ontario. Elizabeth has been completing physical demands analysis and ergonomics assessments for over 20 years and is keen to share her experiences during this webinar series.

Cancellations will be accepted in writing (email: info@oka.on.ca) until June 15, 2018 to receive a full refund. No refunds after June 15, 2018. Registered attendees wil have the opportunity to view a recording of the webinars for 7 days after the completion of part 2. Registered attendees will be notified and provided with the access link as soon as the recordings are available.
